the coronavirus is smaller than the wavelength of visible light. so it does not have colours in the way we think about colours. as to geometry we can model the virus, not not in terms of colour. most visualisations reduce the complexity of the protein structure. a single spike consists of over 20,000 proteins. my new visualisations show the virus with a highly reduced complexity. but the basic geometry is correct. about 40 spiked fit on each cell. i did other visualisations with much more complexity, such as this one:
