i created this piece of cloth in autodesk maya using a simulation method called nCloth: the cloth falls onto a chair which i had modeled beforehand. the texture is based on solid angle’s sheen shading technique. i created two sheen layers which i could mix. what you see in the image below are four variations of a blending mode for the two texture layers. right-click on the image below to enlarge it.
