{"id":6942,"date":"2017-07-22T17:11:19","date_gmt":"2017-07-22T15:11:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maxschoenherr.de\/clock\/?p=6942"},"modified":"2017-07-22T17:27:41","modified_gmt":"2017-07-22T15:27:41","slug":"drone-video-for-wikipedia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maxschoenherr.de\/clock\/drone-video-for-wikipedia\/","title":{"rendered":"drone video for | wikipedia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dbIVsKgn6S0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>drone timelapse video for wikipedia<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[three-fifths-first]<span style=\"color: #333333;\">i shot the video above for wikipedia and wanted to inspire drone pilots to use this way of distribution for their stills and videos. i&#8217;ll show you which technical steps i followed to get the video from the drone into the realm of the \u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File:K%C3%B6ln_Eifeltor_Verkehrskreuz_2017.ogg\">creative commons<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">firstly, i edited the video by speeding it up, adding some contrast and slightly adjusting the white balance. this is not needed. the first crucial step is to convert the video to a free format. you cannot upload videos with a propriatory format such as apple&#8217;s mov or microsoft&#8217;s avi. the best, cost-free and politically correct way to do the conversion is by using an open source piece of software like \u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/vlc-media-player.en.softonic.com\/\">VLC<\/a>. download the app for your platform, windows and mac in my case, and run it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/three-fifths-first]<br \/>\n[two-fifths]ich habe das video oben f\u00fcr die \u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File:K%C3%B6ln_Eifeltor_Verkehrskreuz_2017.ogg\">wikipedia<\/a> aufgenommen und m\u00f6chte drohnenpiloten anregen, auch diesen verbreitungsweg f\u00fcr ihre fotos oder filme zu nutzen. hier zeige ich die wesentlichen schritte, um das video aus der drohne in einen wikipedia-artikel zu bringen, in diesem fall in den \u00fcber die autobahn A4.<\/p>\n<p>ich habe zun\u00e4chst das video beschleunigt, etwas im farbton und in der s\u00e4ttigung ver\u00e4ndert; \u2013 which does not directly start the conversion process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/three-fifths-first]<br \/>\n[two-fifths]zun\u00e4chst ruft man im ersten men\u00fc oder mit ctrl-R den konvertierungs-dialog auf. dann f\u00fcttert man das obere fenster mit dem zu konvertierenden film, in diesem fall meine mov-datei. wenn man dann auf &#8222;konvertieren&#8220; VLC won&#8217;t brag about it, it will just show you a black window with a slowly moving dot in the time bar at the buttom. once it&#8217;s reached the right side of the screen, youre done. you&#8217;ll find that the converted file is of good quality and only a small percentage of the original. in my case it shrank from 3 GB to 70 MB!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/three-fifths-first]<br \/>\n[two-fifths]es folgt der entscheidende dialog: wir wollen a) video, b) theora + vorbis, was zu c) ogg f\u00fchrt. jetzt noch einen namen f\u00fcr die zieldatei angeben, und los geht&#8217;s. as opposed to &#8222;standard youtube license&#8220;.<\/span>[\/three-fifths-first]<br \/>\n[two-fifths]und klar kann man das video auch zu youtube hochladen. sogar ganz praktisch, wenn man schon die kleine ogg-datei vorliegen hat. in den einstellungen des videos sollte man dann &#8222;creative commons&#8220;
