(march 20, 2026)

tanz 2: yet another piece of music and joy. i used → lea bertucci’s vocal samples for it. the solid rhythmic foundation is provided by the cubase 15 sidebar: audio drums, running at 175 beats per minute.

tanz 3: in this pretty relaxed piece i used two of cubase’s trap drumloops. the bass is a modified preset of → massive x (native instruments), the harmonic voices are → super 8 instruments, also by native instruments.

tanz 4: this melancholic piece runs at 90 beats per second. the main voices are flügelhorns (british drama toolkit) and violins (BBC symphony orchestra). the bass, as almost always: massive X. the drums: from the cubase 15 sidebar.

tanz 5: this piece runs at 65 beats per minute, although it feels much faster. the rhythmic base comes, again, from cubase 15’s sidebar. most of my music starts without a plan. at one point i added a chord sequence and almost totally hid the snyth track. if the piece feels a bit undetermined: that was my, well, plan.

tanz 6: we’re running at 123 beats per minute. that means: slightly faster than our heartbeat (which is roughly at 60, times 2 = 120). i engage two basses which play related notes.

tanz 7: this 100 BPM dance piece consists of 8 tracks. minimal drums, synth and cello pads. a clarinet. and a sub bass.

tanz 8: i wrote this piece in c minor. the bridge is in c major, the ending in e minor.

tanz 9: this music is short and dark.

tanz 10: this techno piece has the number 10, hidden somewhere on the fly. enjoy!

tanz 11: the title of this music is ELFER tritt. the two german words have no meaning. ELFER means something like the number 11, and tritt is a kick. it is composition number 11 in my techno series. with kick you might associate a forward movement. technically, the drums are extremely slowed down, enhanced with percussion at the real speed of 125 BPM. soundwise, it is the most experimental piece in this collection.

tanz 12: ausgelernte 12 means: nothing more for number 12 to be learnt. the 125 BPM piece is full of harmony, with a straight forward techno beat.

tanz 13: this song completes my 13 piece journey into techno, break beat and drum & bass. you cam hear the album with all tracks basically everywhere, on youtube, spotify etc. you might want to search for „tanz 13 schoenherr“.
