on may 22, 1990 i was offered to make an interview with a japanese business man who was the founder of the north american branch of nintendo. since at that time i ran a computer show for young listeners i was not specifically interested in business, but in the little device mr. arakawa brought with him: a game boy.

the game boy was introduced in 1989 in the US and in 1990 in europe. here is a brief excerpt of the interview with minoru arakawa. it was so remarkably open, direct and warm hearted that i remember it well.
